East Tennessee Ambulatory Surgery Center (ETASC) was opened by Dr. Jim Brantner in 1999, and in May 2002, the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) expanded to offer all specialties. In 2006, ETASC began construction on the current 15,150 square foot, $4.2 million facility.The center currently houses four operating rooms and one endoscopy suite conveniently located on the Med-Tech Parkway in Johnson City, TN. ETASC performs approximately 2500 procedures per year in such specialties as: general surgery, endoscopy, cosmetic surgery, gynecology/reproductive surgery, hand surgery, ophthalmology, pain management, and podiatry. East Tennessee Ambulatory Surgery Center is an outpatient facility, certified by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care).

Bristol Ambulatory Surgery Center (BASC) is a joint venture between Ballad Health, United Surgical Partners and a physician ownership group that recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation. The center currently houses four operating rooms and one minor procedure room located in the Professional Park Building in Bristol, TN. BASC performs approximately 4000 procedures per year: including a broad range of outpatient surgical procedures including joint replacement, neurology/spine, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, podiatry, oral and plastic surgeries. Bristol Ambulatory Surgery Center is an outpatient facility, certified by the AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care).
