We survey more than 75% of our patients who undergo outpatient procedures and randomly survey about 100 patients every month who undergo inpatient procedures. Our quality management system includes clinical quality indicators, and satisfaction surveys of patients, as well as surgeons. Our surveys and quality data clearly show that our anesthesia care ranks above national standards for patient satisfaction and safety, including pain relief and prevention of post-operative vomiting.
